Honestly, the censored versions are more suggestive than the things they are trying to censor. That kind of skin suit they make them wear are the kind of thing you see made from paint on latex. If they are going for the "comic like hero in spandex" look then they should have done a better job. IF you have to censor the looks then go for the halter top of the show censoring, and with the Queen just fill in the gaps and make it look like a dancer's practice outfit using the colors of the suit at hand.
But over all I hate censorship. I do get why it happens, but it could be handled better, and there is no need for it at all really. She doesn't look that suggestive. I've seen worse at the beach. I do have an original English Harpie Lady and Harpie Girl/Chick, I forget which word they used, that aren't censored.
*Sigh* America, for Yugioh they have done various censorship. since they aim it towards kids who may have militant Crhistian families who will explode by the first sight of anything of any sexual nature.
I found it disappointing for this censorship. Since the Harpies do have this sexual bondage theme to them...I think its pretty cool. Some Censorship on some other cards make no sense at all.
Have you seen Call of the Haunted? In the Japanese version, the tombstones are crosses, but in the american version, they are just gravstones...
i hate how the americans censor everything...like did u kno the redrew mystic tomato COMPLETELY? the jap. version looked like a funny pumpkin so they said that it would make kids be terrified of tomatoes.....so they redrew that vegetable from hell lol...silly americans i do love the harpies i think this one is the most beautiful of them all
That reminds me of a movie from when I was a kid, I forget it's name but it was something about "When Tomatos Attack" and something had made them mutate into man-eater veggies or something like that.
And wasn't there a Goosebumps book, you know that kids' horror novels from the '90s, about mutant tomato attacks? Honestly, there is no call for such a revision seeing as kids' media has already use the idea and made it scarry.
